Respect for Self
Everybody should:
- Behave in a sensible and appropriate manner
- Not be under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs while at London Learning Centre
- Keep good personal hygiene
Respect for Others
Everybody should:
- Allow others to learn and teachers to teach
- Treat everybody with consideration and good manners
- Respect the right of others to hold their beliefs and opinions
- Help to prevent all forms of bullying
- Help to prevent all forms of illegal activity such as theft etc.
- Behave with the health and safety of others in mind
- Behave responsibly
Respect for the Environment
Everybody should:
- Treat their own property and the property of others with care
- Treat the school buildings and contents with care
- Report any theft of students’ or the school’s property
- Do not litter, do not destroy college property, do not shout
Cultural differences
- Students must respect that people are from different cultures.
- During lessons, students will discuss topics that might not fit your religious or cultural beliefs. Please remember that everyone is allowed to have their own views, and these must be respected.
- In the classroom, students and teachers are called by their first name.
- Students must not ask their teachers to dishonestly change or be flexible with their attendance record.
- London Learning Centre does not have prayer facilities.
If any of the above Policy rules are broken, a student may be issued with a written warning. If the negative behaviour continues within 10 days after the warning is given, the student may be asked to leave the course.
