Spoken English for Work

Spoken English for Work – Trinity SEW

English language proficiency is either a requirement or an opportunity for better career prospects and promotion.

Improve your CV with a Trinity Spoken English for Work qualification.

Candidates may choose one of the following four levels of SEW:

  • SEW1 – CEFR B1 (Intermediate)
  • SEW2 – CEFR B2.1 (Strong Intermediate)
  • SEW3 – CEFR B2.3 (Upper-Intermediate)
  • SEW4 – CEFR C1 (Advanced)

SEW examinations give candidates confidence in the real world of work by providing valuable practice in telephone conversations, formal and informal presentations and an opportunity to discuss work issues in an English-speaking environment.

Successful SEW candidates receive a certificate which indicates their chosen topic category, such as ‘Advertising & Media’ or ‘Hospitality & Tourism’.

This intensive course is taught through private lessons.

  • The lessons focus on your particular needs.
  • You benefit from the full attention of your teacher.
  • All study materials are included.

Why do we teach SEW through private lessons?

In a class of up to 10 people, there might be a marketing researcher, a sales manager, a director, an analyst, an accountant, etc. Each student might also come from a different country and have particular pronunciation issues. It is impossible in this case for a teacher to focus on all students’ particular needs.

If you work alone with the teacher you won’t waste any time – you will concentrate for the whole of each lesson on the particular areas of language that you need.
